In this summative task, I improved a lot being from meeting expectations to exceeding expectations, because I got 6 out of 6. My parents and I were very proud of me, and for days I would quietly cheer to myself “6 out of 6! 6 out of 6!” The main reason why I think I got a 6 was because I understood the rules better, unlike in Investigate, I was sort of lost at times. For this task, I put in 110% effort, which is the one I think, is the one I worked the hardest on, because there is a lot of information, a full 13 pages. I think it was fun asking my clients for feedback on the six designs I drew, because I got to have my sister, Sara, My dad and my mom to give me feedback on these designs, and it was interesting to hear what they all had to say.

 

 More than half of the designs I drew were some I thought might be successful, but when I was trying to think for ideas No. 5 and 6, I was desperate to have an idea, so I drew something that was not that serious, like my 6th idea, which had to be built on a hill, but it is not likely to have an area that is below sea level. Giving weightings for the design was also pretty fun, and of course I gave my first idea the highest weightings because it was the design I had talked about in the Investigate stage, and I knew most about, such as the details of the design and how it was going to look like.


  When I had to decide the final design I was going to build in the Create stage, I asked Sara, my main client, which design would be the best to build, but when I asked her she was concentrating doing something else, and she didn’t give me a direct answer, so I chose for her. The feedback Mr. Thorburn gave me was very useful, because he told me that the font for the whole project should stay the same, and it did look a bit ugly with having the font size first be 12 then 13 and then 11 and on. 

 

 The reason why I did this was to make everything fit, because the description for one design would continue on in the next page, and that space was needed for the next design’s description. At last I managed to make the font size the same and I finished the project early so I had time to do the September extension task.
