The final model that I built turned out to be a little messy. The sides of the inclined plane were too short and the inclined plane was too small. I think the reason for the sides of the inclined plane being too short is that in the Plan stage I wrote that I should make the height of the sides of the inclined plane 5 centimeters, and I had miscalculated the height of the end of the inclined plane.

I had also not thought of the width of the high density Foam Board, because my model turned out to be 10 millimeters too long, which I thought was not acceptable and had to trim off some of the Foam Board, but then Karl, my classmate, said that the model could be a little bit too big or a little bit too small, but the part with the model being a bit too small didn’t make sense because we could decide how big the model was going to be, but the limit was 300mm x 300mm x 300mm.

The objects on the inside turned out to be a lot bigger than I had expected, and they almost reached the top of the model. I did not add in a door or cushions because I was running out of time, and I thought that having the cushions was a weird idea because it would fill the entire model, and it would make it look ugly. I didn’t add the door because the model looked nicer without it, and you could peek in the through the hole where the door was supposed to be and see the inside, even though you can take the inclined plane off and see the inside.

Putting the inclined plane back in place after taking it off is a hard, because it was too small, and I couldn’t make another inclined plane because there wasn’t enough time, so I stuck with the small inclined plane, even though it does annoy me that every time I see my shelter the inclined plane had fallen into the model. The color of the model was supposed to be neon green, but there wasn’t any Foam Board that had the color, so I made a slight change in the color to being regular green, but the model still looks nice.
